"I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry."
"But I am poor and needy; yet The Lord thinks upon me."
It is so amazing to me that The Lord - who sits on a throne in heaven and constantly thinking if me - listens to our inquiries, our cries, our every utterance. Although it is estimated that the bible tells us not to fear 365 within the bible, every day we still have questions and concerns. We shouldn't because we know who holds our lives together, and yet our finite minds so easily forget. The God of the universe who created the earth and the abundance of details within it, still hears our daily cries and often times silly complaints. He cares when our feelings are hurt, when we feel the wear of the day heavy on our earthly shoulders. It begs the question, why does He care? He doesn't need to care because of who He is, but He does care because of who He is. He died on the cross not so that we may mourn or regret but that we may rejoice and worship freely! Our Father in heaven cares for us so deeply that if we were to speak to Him every second of every day He would more than joyfully listen to us. Don't squander the opportunity to speak with your Savior today. He's listening, and yes although we are poor and needy and simple-minded, inconsistent, and troublesome, He will incline His ear to us and make intercessory on our behalf.
