Follow the Way

Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day.
-psalm 25:4-5

This should be a prayer that we start out praying in the morning as soon as we wake up. David knew so well that he needed to walk in the path of God. He knew that only the way God walked was the right way. He desired for God to show him how to walk. That should be our desire as well. Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life."(john14:6) and "follow Me"(john21:19). If we have that same desire that David had on wanting God to show us, in wanting God to teach us, and in wanting God to lead us....then we must go to the "Way"(Jesus) and follow Him.
