For I will declare my iniquity; I will be in anguish over my sin.-psalm 38:18

Once again we see David crying out to God. We see him being so stressed out over his sin that his body is actually hurting. That is exactly what sin will do, it will hurt you! And just like David, we see the same thing happen to us when we sin. We go about mourning(v.6), we have turmoil in our heart(v.8), and we feel like we have fallen down and the sorrow will never leave(v.17). But David repented and we should too. When we do all of those feelings wash away from us, because our Jesus has forgiven us! He went to Calvary's cross and took that sin you did yesterday and that sin you did today upon Himself and took the wrath of God for us that way we would be forgiven. Sin shall not be our master, because Jesus has conquered it and set us free. I encourage you follow the example of David and repent and ask God to forgive you. I also encourage you to remember that Jesus made the way for us to be forgiven.

As we read through the Bible as a church; the Lord as put on my heart to share some observations that our students, our leaders and myself have made as the Lord speaks to us through His Word
