The Fountain of Life

For in You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.-psalm 36:9

In john 1:4-5 John states: "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it." Just as David quoted, John quoted the same thing! And just as it was true so many years ago, it remains true today. Life is found only through Jesus Christ, because He is, the creater of life(genesis1:27). Light is only found through Him,because He is the creater of it as well(genisis1:3). Without Him nothing would exist(john1:4). In David writing about the wickedness of man, he touches on how the wicked have no belief in God. He says that they have no fear whatsoever. As we look around the world today, we see this is still present. Paul touched on this in 1 timothy 3 as well. David knew that the people would get worse, but God still had given His promise to David. And as we see the same things happening, God still has promised us as well. That promise is eternal life and light through Jesus Christ.
